Paul Mcnulty Golf: Privacy Policy
Paul Mcnulty Golf (“PMG”, “ I”, “ me ”, “ my ”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice sets out what personal data I collect, how I collect it, what I use it for and who I share it with (I don’t).
By “personal data” I mean information about you which could identify you, primarily your name and contact details and sometimes information about your connection and interest in PMG (e.g. ‘came for a lesson after being recommended by John Smith”). This is so I can keep you updated with latest golf offers and news that I consider relevant to you.  Personal data does not include data where you can no longer be identified from it such as anonymised aggregate data.
For the purposes of data protection legislation, PMG is considered the “data controller” of personal data processed in connection with this Privacy Notice. This means that I am responsible for deciding how I hold and use personal data about you. My address is Paul Mcnulty Golf, Decathlon, Surrey Quays, Canada Water Retail Park, Surrey Quays Road, London, SE16 2XU. Should you have any questions about this Privacy Notice you can contact me directly on 07525 753 748 or at paulmcnultygolf@gmail.com.
This Privacy Notice applies to personal data about you that I collect, use and otherwise process when you visit my website, attend a lesson with me, meet me at the Decathlon store or otherwise share your data with me. I may provide supplemental privacy notices on specific occasions when I am collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why I am using your personal data. Those supplemental notices should be read together with this Privacy Notice.
What information do I collect about you and what do I use it for?
The types of personal data about you I may collect, store and use are set out in the table below and I have specified what I use it for and my ‘lawful basis’ for processing it. The law specifies certain ‘lawful bases’ under which I am allowed to use your personal data. Most commonly, I will rely on one or more of the following lawful bases for processing your personal data:
Where I need the information to provide my service to you;
Where I need to comply with a legal obligation;
Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests; and
Description    Why is the data held and what is it used for?    Basis for processing data (e.g. consent, 9(2)d)    Who holds the data and who can access it?    What security controls are in place?
Client name and email and from time to time details of how a given client was introduced to me.    Sharing details of lesson special offers, coaching trips and other related golf information.    Legitimate interest and, where you have subscribed via my website, direct consent.    Only me, Paul Mcnulty.    I have a single personal laptop with one log-in and password.
Where you have consented to me doing so.

Special categories of personal data

Certain categories of personal data, such as race, religion or health, are considered to be “special categories” of personal data as they are more sensitive types of data. I do not routinely collect, store or use special categories of personal data.
Please note that I may use your personal data without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, if I am required by law to do so or if I reasonably believe that it is necessary to protect my rights and/or to comply with judicial or regulatory proceedings, a court order or other legal process.
What if you do not provide the personal data I request?
If you do not provide me with certain information when requested, I will find it difficult to contact you and will not be able to provide you with updates about golf lessons and related information.
Change of purpose
I will only use your personal data for the purposes for which I collected it (as identified above) unless I reasonably consider that I need to use it for another reason which is compatible with the original purpose. If I need to use your personal data for an unrelated purpose, I will notify you and explain the legal basis which allows me to do so.
How do I collect this information?
I typically collect personal data about you when you attend a lesson with me or when you visit my website and sign up to my mailing list.
With whom will I share your information?
I do not share your personal information.  I may however do so if I am required by law to do so or if I reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to protect my rights and/or to comply with judicial or regulatory proceedings, a court order or other legal process, or alternatively if I have another legitimate reason for doing so.

If I become aware of a data breach, I will report it in accordance with the regulations.
How long will I retain your information?
I will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes I collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.  My financial records may also show your name, for example when you have paid by way of bank transfer.
If you are on my mailing list, I will keep your data until you unsubscribe or otherwise request to be removed from the list. I may periodically ‘clean’ the mailing list of email addresses which ‘bounce back’ or subscribers who have not opened an email from me for a long time, in which case your data might be removed from the list as I would assume you were no longer interested in hearing from me. Of course you could re-subscribe at any time.
Your rights in relation to your information
It is important that the personal data I hold about you is accurate and current. Please let me know if your personal data changes during your relationship with me.
You have rights as an individual which you can exercise in relation to the information I hold about you under certain circumstances. These rights are to object to the processing of your personal data and to request:
access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”) and request certain information in relation to its processing;
rectification of your personal data;
erasure of your personal data;
restriction of processing of your personal data; and
transfer of your personal data to another party.
If you want to exercise one of these rights please contact me using the contact details set out above.
You also have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues.
Fees
You will not usually have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, I may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, I may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.
What I may need from you
I may need to request specific information from you to help me confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is another appropriate security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.

Right to withdraw consent
Where you may have provided your consent to the collection, processing and transfer of your personal data for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent for that specific processing at any time. To withdraw your consent, please contact me using the same contact details as set out above. Once I have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, I will no longer process your information for the purpose(s) you originally agreed to unless I have an alternative legal basis for doing so.
Changes to this privacy notice
I reserve the right to update this privacy notice at any time, and I will make an updated copy of such privacy notice available on my website and notify you when I make any substantial updates. I may also notify you in other ways from time to time about the processing of your personal data.
